Renée is a respected
Middle Eastern dance performer and instructor now based in Honolulu.
Improvisational stage experience and live music from across the Middle East
have influenced Renée's energetic and engaging style. She has the charisma,
knowledge and cultural awareness to draw audiences into her performance,
entrancing them while also rendering them relaxed and comfortable.
Although she supports and explores all styles of the dance, she is partial
to Egyptian and Lebanese cabaret styles. As a teacher, she helps students
not only with their technique but also with the development of their
individual style and confidence onstage. She works with students pursuing a
career in solo performance as well as those who just want to get into shape
or have fun! Renée is dedicated to promoting Middle Eastern dance and
sisterhood among the growing number of dancers all over the world.
